Just over the weekend, I took some pictures for the Canadian Asian Food Suppliers Association. I was shooting with my new Canon 5D Mk II (The images don't look stellar because of the monitor I use at work. It over saturates the colours and I'm left post process with these. I'm going to ask for a new monitor). Lots of fun overall, and lots of very important people there as well.

I've updated Colette's page with a couple more photos! She's growing up fast and crawling already. It's great to see her growing up so quickly. On another note, Spring and Summer are coming up and it's back to photo season! We'll be seeing more photos now, and always feel free to leave comments. I love reading your comments!

Aaaahh.. a sigh of relief as Sidney Crosby scores the final winning goal 7 minutes into overtime. The tension was building up until that point as Canada just lost their 2 point lead at 34 seconds left in the third period. This has got to be the most epic battle in Mens Hockey EVER! Such a great moment for our neighbours in the south as they did the near impossible. I mean, Canada being such a good penalty killing team, you think they'd be able to just clear the puck down to that empty net. Anyway, as time dragged on, people's blood pressure rose, couches and chairs around the nation were tipping forward as people occupied only the front 2 inches of the edge, and sweat started beading on foreheads 'cause we all know the inevitable. If the USA could hold out longer, we'd be in big trouble. Oh my gosh. That game brings shudders to my spine everytime I think of it, but the two greatest moments were 1. Sidney Crosby scoring the last goal, and 2. The CocaCola commercial that followed right after where their tag line used to say "let them know whose game they're playing" now said "now they know whose game they're playing."
Smiles all around

Well, the Winter Olympics are upon us and I'm all hyped for Canada. There has been lots of disappointing moments, but I'm proud of all our atheletes nonetheless. There is nothing to be sad about being 4th or 5th in the world. I mean... they're 4th or 5th out of 6 billion people, so that puts them in the 99.999999916% best spot. I mean, if I got those grades in school, I'd be proud! Here's to all our athletes: Go Canada Go!
Afterall, we are Canadian eh?
